the steps are put in, added the rest of the brass mouldings, build time to date 530 hrs.

made a start on the chess tree and rubbing timbers, next is the channels and the channel chain plate assemblies.

making a start on the gunport lids, channel irons now done and just a tidy up to do on this bit. build hours so far:- 560hrs.

Hi Karl.
Yes, that's the one! It's shown in all the plans in my reference books but it can't be seen clearly in any of the completed hull pics on the Jotika site (the ref drawings are all based on the Portsmouth configuration of course) so I wasn't sure if it was actually there at the time of Trafalgar or added later.
(It certainly isn't included in the DelPrado instructions!!) Looks like I'll be making up a couple soon then! BigGrin
