Hi Im seeing on a few builds that there is lettering on the temporary stand supplied early on in the build - the lettering is always "HMS Victory" and "Deagostini" and looks the same on different builds, same font etc. Is this just a coincidence or were we supposed to receive lettering with that stand? No lettering was provided with UK the build stand. Some UK members have applied/painted their own lettering to it.
Possibly in other markets the stand was provided with laser-burned lettering.
A Victory display stand which includes a lettered brass plaque is available to purchase via the online shop.

There is no lettering for the temporary (construction) stand the only lettering is a decal at the end of the series for the stern J “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

As mentioned earlier in this thread, they are not decals but are laser-burned letters into the wood.
Each DeAgostini country has the means to tweek a series to suit them, as the series has long since ended in the UK and that the build stand has already been provided, there is no option to provide this change for the UK. You might be lucky enough to pick up a magazine containing the build stand with lettering via eBay via one of the countries it appeared in.
