Dear ship modelling friends,
I am posting this message on behalf of the members of the dutch DeAgostini VICTORY forum.
At this moment we working on the issues 101-104.Many dutch members have chosen to make the decision
for the Cutaway section on starboard side (2 decks). According to my information the UK members have already
surpassed issue 120 and the dutch forum members are highly curious how DeAgostini is going to cover the specifies
on the way the Cutaway needs to be finished.
I would really happy if you could answer on behalf of the members of the dutch DeAgostini VICTORY forum the
following questions:
1) Is there a specific issue coming from DeAgostini that describes how to deal with the Cutaway section?
2) Not regarding the Cutaway but somethings else that's troubling the dutch forum members, in the issues
118+119, which we haven't received yet, a totaly of 13 tin crew members will be send.
however, in the introduction of the Victory according to the information on the official DeAgostini website
was spoken of aproxx. 60 tin figures.
can somebody of the UK forum members maybe clear this obvious cunundrum for us?

Hi Adri,
Specific instructions will be provided with the Cutaway packs, the content as follows:
Wooden parts for the cutaway deck floors and cutaway framings.
30 x wooden strips
0.6 x 3mm, 150mm long
2 x wooden strips
2 x 3mm, 150mm long
2 x wooden veneers
0.6mm thick, 130 x 75mm
Cutaway gun set = 6 guns (3 per deck)
(3 larger guns for the lower deck and 3 guns for the middle deck)
The second pack of parts is listed below:
Cutaway gun crew x 5 figures (4 sets = 20 pcs total)
Additional standard gun crew x 5 figures (3 sets = 15 pcs total)
Marines x 5 figures
Sailors x 5 figures
Printed instructions will be included with the above.
