Hi all
just thought this may come in useful have been trawling the web for planking techniques I know we have a lot of expertise among some of our more professional modellers who are more than willing to help us out, but some of the terminology used in many of the published books is some what baffling bearding lines and rabbets etc this pdf file explains all of these terms anyway i will leave you to make up your own minds this is intended for members who are first timers at planking no offence meant I've done planking before but you can always learn something new the web site is www.modelshipwrightsdatabase.com

It's a very good resource. The article planking techniques was highlighted in one of the earliest posts on this forum and is a clear explantion, well worth reading before planking for the first time or anytime for that matter!
