hi all..i am building the Nina(1:65 scale) for practice before the victory kicks in.i have searched the web for the correct colours/staining of this ship but all i have come across is pictures that looks as if its been dunked in creosote or a very shiny gloss finish varnish (as it looks on the box)which i am sure is incorrect..any suggestions would be well recieved...paul cheers benny

Hi Paul Well mate, your in luck, too many pictures to mention here, this is the replica Nina. She look pretty much black to me. Go here for 100's of pictures taken from every angle, if I was building this these would be like candy to a kid. http://modelshipworld.co...t=nina&&start=0
and a 1/32 replica http://modelshipworld.co...6221&highlight=nina
another link to the replica used in the 1492 film (which I in fact watched today)
