im watching discovery on sky tv call treasure quest and they hav find the hms victory in the bottom of the sea so how can they fine it when its in the dock down south

The Royal Navy has always re-used names of ships, when one is sunk or de-commisioned, another ship is given the same name.
There have been a number of HMS Victory's. The one you are watching in the programme was sunk in a great storm in 1744 with the loss of all the crew.
At first the Navy decided not to have another Victory as a it had been such a tragic event. However, when they decided that a new 1st rate was to be built, it was decided to call her HMS Victory and it is the 1765 Victory that has survived and is still a flagship of the Royal Navy
