I found this quite interesting..."The last addition that has been included is a support stand... I can see you all asking why a support stand is require if the model builds up structurally??? Well, HK Models idea for the stand is quite neat... I know most people will have an issue on displaying the kit once complete, so this is where the stand comes into play! It's been designed to be screwed on the a wall surface of a room or a mounting board and clips into the bomb bay area of the kit, allowing the B-17 to safely mounted on the wall."
A great idea for dispalying such a large model!

Mind you, I have the Revell 1:48 Rockwell B-1B Lancer in my stash and that is over three feet long!!

I believe it is the biggest plastic aircraft kit to this day, though the new models from HK above may challenge it a bit!!
I've also got ALL of the Eduard etch sets for it - internal, external and the exhaust cans sets, plus the metal undercarriage upgrades from 'Scale Aircraft Conversions' and some aftermarket decals and RBF tags.
May build it one day, though heaven knows where I would put it when finished!!
