Hi All  Having checked out the thread "Hull Profile" by Nigel I have found what i think could be a BAD problem  . Rib 26 on my build is square to to the false keel and vertically in line, but has a list to port that I had not previously noticed  . The outside edges I assume can be sorted by building up and/or sanding down the outer edge, but it has by design put the deck support extensions on the inside out of line. As I have planked up to issue 27 I am loath to strip things down, so can anyone give some advice as to there being another cure, other than a dreaded strip down. del I hate to have to keep repeating myself, but could you please post a pic,when asking for help, it give us a much better chance to help you, and we can see much better what the problem is???? k. Hi All, Well here`s the issue, rib 26 out of place. 1st picture-from bow to stern.  Note the enthusiasm on the wife`s face.  Now not sure how good the camera angle is, so tried these pics to try and help show the problem better. I clamped some planks to the rear ribs following as close as possible to the planking line on the lower hull.   That set up as close as I could on both sides I placed a ruler against the first rib of the Gallery to show gaps.   Hope this explains my problem with a bit more clarity! HI Del there is a problem there,but can be rectified without any stripdown.Before I advise what to do can you show another photo,this time with a ruler placed on edge where you strip is but spaning the last four frames,it needs to go right to the stern.

The starboard side of rib 26 is leaning out.I would chop it off flush with deck and glue back on with epoxy.Fit a couple of dowels of say 1 to 2 mm brass rod in the joint to strengthen it.These need to go in about 10mm either side of the joint.When you refit clamp something straight on the out side just where you had your ruler to hold in position whilst the joint dries.Also measure the gap to frame 27 and make sure its the same at the top.Even if you use a quick cure epoxy leave clamped up for twenty four hours to allow the epoxy to become rock hard.

Thankyou very much Del .If i can help anyone along with their build it makes me happy.Its just the same technique as if one of the frame sides had been accidentely broken off.I forgot to mention to drill your dowel holes slightly larger than the rod this allows you to get the epoxy thoroughly into the holes.
