Hi all.... as a newcomer I am awaiting with bated breath my first instalment. I have now waited 12 days (seems like12 years). Is the 14 days normal and if so why... 14 days seems to be very unreasonable. My joining was achieved via the telephone... I origonaly joined via email and after waiting 28 days I emailed the admin and was refered to another emil address... I contacted this individual three times but received no answer. With all this I am very concerned regards my membership... is it real or is the site a joke.
My 14 day wait will be up soon so I will hold my breath.
Looking at the forum it would appear that there are many bits missing from the issues but there are also many very happy builders so I will just hope for the best.
Hi to all and happy build..... lordchummy

BigGrin Hi Lordchumy
welcome to the forum, sometimes it takes awhile to get subscriptions going but it soon settles down to 4 issues per month and I would expect to wait 28 days for your 1st package as that is the norm, after you receive the 1st package things should settle down to regular monthly postings of issue's. Hope this helps
regards

Hi..Yeah the first issues can take a while to arrive. But then you should get them pretty much the same date every month.I have recently started the build, but after issue 10 decided to cancel subscription, and just buy the issues via online shop.Im pretty much hooked and wanted to complete the build quicker BigGrin This is my attempt at the ships launch.I used humbrol yellow ochre, not to happy with it.Will prob redo it when my victory paint set arrives

Hi Lordchumy and darc333.
Welcome to the build, as Andy, my first issue took over a month to arrive, but then they came every month, with no problems up to now.Same with the copper tiles and paint set i ordered; but i just waited, and they came.
Darc333, the build does seem slow for the first 18 issues, but then they start building up. At the moment i'm only on issue 37 of the build, trying to finish planking the hull, but have received 54 issues, and now waiting for 55 - 58 to arrive, so my issues are mounting up, but it means i don't have to wait for issues to arrive, which is great. Just jump onto the next one.
Mal.
