Hi, I'd like to buy a battery powered mini vacuum cleaner to remove the dust from my many models.I've been on eBay to see what's available but have been put off by poor customer reviews.Does anyone know where i can buy one that has good suction & costs around £10-£15? Any help would be appreciated.Thanks.Stuart.

Hi,
To be honest I find a vacuum of any sort useless for dusting models, if it works at all, you have to get so close that damage is a serious risk. They certainly don't get into those nooks and crannies.
What I use is the opposite, a Blower, I have a Compressor and Air Gun, but you can buy cans of Aerosol Dust Blower fairly cheaply. The other thing I use is a large very soft Artists Brush. It's obviously best to do this outside, to avoid the wrath of 'er indoorsLOL LOL

Just for interest, Harder and Steenbeck produce an 'Airbrush' for this purpose.
