Hi Robin, didnt even notice you only had 4 skids or I would have pointed it out, That used to seeing everybody else with 6 I suppose. I am putting this thing back together looking at all the various builds cos I aint got any plans for this. Total cost to date is still £24 but another £20 will be spent this week on more tiles and belaying pins.Just a post for the little enhancement of the gallery. a bit of plastic and a paint job basically, before and after. Update time again fellas. The stern gallery is beginning to take shape. Almost done on one side, lead foil roof has been fitted and painting done, just got the bottom to work out.   HMS Surprise

Gave all the preformed gunports and doors a dose of nitromors and stripped them back, wire brushed them and now they are like new again. These will be airbrushed black prior to fitting.  HMS Surprise

A brilliant job there Moriarty!  "Working out the bottom" on the stern galleries....I still have nightmares thinking back to that part! It was like a whole build project on its own! Thanks guys, another small update now.Got all the gunports airbrushed to keep the detail on them and got them installed. Coppering is nearly there, just all the awkward little cuts to do  .  HMS Surprise
