Well after 1 year 9 months and baited breath, today I finally received my final 4 issues of 'build your own mclaren'....... :-) I decided to wait till I had every issue to start building! So box fresh in front of me 85 packets of joy!! I would like to thank deagostini for their help (when I received a squashed drivers seat and sent out a replacement) without batting an eyelid, and a thank you to all those who encountered some hiccups along the way and resolved quickly to now (hopefully) pull off a flawless build :-) take care everyone and happy modeling! I am like a kid in a candy store at the moment! ......ps......I can now afford a possible mp4/4 subscription if it were to be available......hint hint :-)

You certainly have willpower, I'll give you that mate!!
Enjoy the build, it's going to be fun and if I can give any helpful advice, it's be careful with the glue and watch those fingerprints on the chrome paint, it is very easy to ruin it!! Oh and take your time - don't rush it!!
Good luck mate and looking forward to seeing your build!!

Thanks for the replies guys! I must admit I will honestly be over the top and build it wearing rubber gloves, I use them all day as a vehicle tech so after 16 years am quite dextrose with them :-)

My stack of bits is yelling at me almost every day, but I'm determined not to start until I 'fully' retire in August...... Mine will probably be as DeAg intended (no extra's) as I'm also getting ready for the Pocher Aventador that should arrive in October. Roy.
