Run since 1929, it is widely considered to be one of the most important and prestigious races in the world, regarded by many as a win here being worth two anywhere else...and a bit like trying to cycle around your living room!
Mercedes seem to be the favorites in having taken pole position in the last three races before dropping back, but the difficulty of passing in Monaco should help them stay in front for longer.
Who has the nerve and best car for a win in 2013?

It's difficult to overtake at Monaco, true - but not impossible!! Olivier Panis won from 14th back in the '90s (off the top of my head, '96 I think, could be wrong?) and others have won at Monaco from less than perfect grid slots. The guys who can win at Monaco are either great at overtaking or have the cars that are either best suited to street circuits or able to perform at ANY circuit?
I don't think Mercedes have a big enough understanding of the new tyres yet to turn even a pole/front row lockout at Monaco into a win and there are cars that are better around street circuits than the Mercedes as well, though Hamilton is definitely one of motorsports' overtaking greats.
The Red Bulls are known for being significantly quicker through corners than they are down the straights, and what is Monaco mostly made of? Yep - corners!! Mark Webber loves the circuit and usually shines at Monaco and has won it twice, I think (at least once if not twice), so I think he will be a favourite and is looking to put one over Seb and this will be a prime opportunity for him.
You can never discount Alonso and he also has won at Monaco, loves the circuit and will be keen to continue his recent performance in Spain with another win in the next race. Raikkonen is always going to be in with a shout this year because the Lotus Renault is a good car that is easy on its' tyres, but I don't think he will be able to live with the three above at this race, maybe fourth, though I think Hamilton will be able to hang in there and could possibly push Raikkonen back to fifth?

All the over taking will be done during pit stops, and tyre stradegy will obviously change the field up a bit 1. Alonso (to break the record of 3 wins with 3 teams) 2. Webber 3. Vettel

With less pit stops it has to be Kimi in his Lotus

I wish Lotus would go back to having gold lining rather than the manky beige colour..

I am sure that it was from the JPS Lotus 78 (Andretti/Peterson) that they started to use a 'beige' colour instead of gold, which was called 'biscuit' if memory serves me right and which actually looks very much like black and gold when viewed from even just a short distance! They continued to use the black and 'biscuit' colours right up until JPS stopped sponsoring Lotus with the Lotus 98 being the last car to carry the JPS livery, the 99T being in Camel yellow.
So the black and beige (biscuit) has actually been around longer than black and gold!!
