 Hi Alan . I Have used Paduk in long bow making  It is as hard as hell  And it will be a pig to cut and sand . Hope this helps Rgd Martyn Building ?

Problem I am having is there are so many different modifications that can be made but I know I don't have the necessary skills yet to undertake them all... Being my first build I really am going to air on the side of caution mainly sticking to the official build with a few asthetic changes here and there... .. My next build may entice me to carry out more advanced modifications where appropriate.... .. Appreciate the advice as always.... Regards Alan

Happy to say the trenailing on one side of the upper hull is now complete and am very pleased with the overall results.... .. Once it has received its final sanding and coats of matt clear varnish then it will finally give the appearance I'm after, nice and subtle.... .. Now to get started on the other side.... and to think the lower hull is still to come....  Regards Alan Gandale attached the following image(s):

Well now I really do feel humbled and honoured....  It appears a link to my SOTS build diary has now been placed on the ModelSpaceUK official Facebook page to help promote both the product and of course our Forum.... .. I'm not sure I deserve such an accolade but will obviously do my very best to do the service and our forum proud..... ...
