I’m near the end of issue 18. I found the Build Discussions of the best way to fit Plank 5 very helpful, especially Karl’s advice. I trimmed the bow plank and bevelled the upper edge to fit under the lower edge of plank 4, and it went like a dream. But this has big implications, seeing that I’m using bamboo. Should I bevel the top edges of all planks in the same way from now on? I wonder what others are doing. Grateful for any comments and advice.Confused

Hi CEC,BigGrin
I to have used bamboo for the whole of the first layer of planking, to that end as suggested I bevelled every plank of that layer.

Everything seems to have stuck together without any problems.

Hope this helps.

Right: it's bevelling for me from now on. (Upper edge or lower edge? I'll have to experiment.) Thanks for all the replies.
