Hi everyone, I'm in need of some assistance/advice. A couple of queries all around issue 34. Firstly in build note 9, it refers to "rib frame 10" ?? There isn't a rib frame 10 so what rib is the note referring to ? Secondly, my measurements don't appear to be working out correctly. In build note 5 for example, it isn't possible to "join all the dots" of the given measurements in one straight (albeit sloping) line. In addition having followed all of the measurements accurately, by the time I get to note 10, I appear to be losing a lot of planking, I don't want to start "hacking off" in case I'm wrong. Any advice from you guys would be appreciated.

Hi Mike,
I'm in the middle of Issue 34 too.
The reference to Rib 10 must be a Typo and should say Rib 22. You're right the lines are not straight, I used a bit of bent strip to line them up in a slight curve. There is quite a bit of planking to remove, but I'm not removing it until I've finished cutting the Ports out, to retain a bit more strength.

Hi Mike, if I remember correctly there was a mention in Mr T's official build of the typo.. Andy is correct, should read rib 22.. I have not cut the top of the bullworks to the correct height as yet, will finish that off when fitting the upper decks..... Still had to cut off a lot of planks though... Hope this helps..

Regards

Alan

Hi Gandale & Court Orchard, thanks for that, reassuring to know that I'm not the only one who could see they're not straight lines !!! I'll take the typo and probably not cut the planking just yet.

Thanks,

Mike Cool
