Very nice result indeed John, top work from a master of his art and I love every part of it!!
Particularly like the black and white shot, very ethereal and quite thought provoking - how hard must it have been to wage war in such conditions? Your diorama is a fine tribute to those brave men on both sides!!

Mr T Thanks for your kind comment.
Sean Thank you. Snow is very hard to get dead right, after experimenting I used Woodland scenics snow, with a think acrylic medium to bind it, followed by some baking powder and a very fine Glitter dust painted on in places to give it a sparkle. I'm not fully convinced that it worked out. My next little project will be a Gestapo, military police scene with a very nice little Mercedes 170D. I'll post my progress.

I was looking for some background info on a book club project I am working on at school, the book being the Hotton Report about the battle for the area in and around Hotton, which of course you probably know, largely involved Colonel Hogan. Thank you for the work you have done. Colonel Sam Hogan was in fact, my grandfather. He would have gotten a kick out of your work, particularly the gear in the jeep.

Samuel
Thank you for your posting. I'm more than delighted to hear from Colonel Hogan's family and if you think he would have got a kick out of it then that's the best news possible. All the best with your school project. John
