Excellent work AlanBigGrin BigGrin .You managed to work that little dip out nicely in your subsequent planking runs. You do know the fun bit is getting the other side to match.
Kind Regards Nigel

LOL LOL LOL ... Let me deal with this side first and the challenges its bringing........ then I'll worry about the other side....LOL LOL .. Seriously though, I know that is going to be important to ensure the hull and stern look balanced but it should be a fun challenge none the less.....BigGrin BigGrin ..I'll even try to re-create the little dip just for you....LOL LOL LOL Believe it or not I am loving the experience of planking this baby, although I will be painting certain area's I want the majority of the hull to be in natural wood with a dull shine..... BigGrin BigGrin .. Thanks for the lovely comment Nigel and of course your time in looking in.....Cool Cool

Regards

Alan

Planking looks exceptional, love the fact there`s not a pointy plank in sight. Just got the top bamboo to fit, when mags arrive next week, then gun port cutting and THEN I get to grips with the second planking.
Hope it works out somewhere near to your efforts Cool Cool Cool

Thanks for the positive comments Derek, if I could give one piece of advice on the second planking is always let the planks run where they want to lay, don't force into position up or down. If you do this then the start and end of the taper will become obvious allowing you to see where the cut needs to be at the end of the plank, (Not less than half a plank width)... Cool Cool .. Take your time with it and I'm sure your efforts will be rewarded....

Alan
