Coming along very nicely Martyn.... .. Can't give any advice on lining the gun ports I'm afraid... simply because it is not something I have done so for now will have to follow your progress and experiences on this particular task..... .. If I was going to advise then think I would be saying simply take your time with it.... Regards Alan

Looking good Martyn I am afraid there isn't an easy way to line gun ports properly.I used a jig on my build to make boxes out of wider material and then shaped to the hull profile.This doesn't make it easier,just ensures all the ports are exactly the same size.Wouldn't recommend it on a standard build though because you need to be able to work inside the hull. Thanks Alan for the comments I have now finished the gun ports and now on to the stern galleries very easy to put together I have stained the galleries with Citadel flesh wash . Hi All now back on the sots after a brake with lots to do in my shop and keeping all the fish tanks cool hay ho . I have fitted the grating in to the platform and glued it on to the bow then fitted the side piece to the frame after I steamed them in to shape with the kettle .
