Dan Snow, Dallas Campbell and Anita Rani have been given unprecedented access airside at the world’s busiest airport. They go behind the scenes at Heathrow, which has more than 200,000 passengers passing through it each day, witnessing air-traffic control in action and examining the science and logistics behind the flights.
In the first episode, Dan finds out how Heathrow went from a row of tents to one of the world's busiest airports, Anita discovers how weather affects the airport each day, and Dallas looks at the first-class compartment of the A380, the world's largest passenger jet.

I've just sat and watched last nights' opening episode which I recorded and found it fascinating! What a cool series!!
Highly recommended viewing if you are plane nuts!!
