Hi

I am looking to buy a good quality model kit of the Queen Anne's Revenge. Does anybody know where I can order one please? My husband has been dropping hints that he would like one for his birthday but I have no idea where to start looking, all the one's I have found so far seem to have been built already.

Thanks in advance!

I've not noticed a kit of this ship on sale, but this US company sell a completed version and may be able to assist on a kit version

Hi Hays
The Spanish company Constructo used to make a Queen Anne's Revenge but I couldn't find it in any of the current lists so its probably no longer made. I found two others, both from the US, a 1/250 scale plastic kit from HOBBYWORLDINC.COM. The other one is a very detailed kit indeed with an even more detailed price tag of $1,200.00!!!! I didn't make a note of the manufacturer (for obvious reasons) but I can find it again if you are actually a millionaire! Blink

Best of luck

Robin

Ah, just realised the expensive one is Mr T's link above! Blushing

Thanks guys, it does seem to be an elusive model! The husband has also mentioned the HMS Endeavour and I've seen a few of those so maybe that's the best option for now. Any recommendations on which is the better one out of Corel or Caldercraft? or any other make I don't know of? Don't really want to spend more than £200 but if it's going to keep him quiet for a while I'll spend a little more!

Thanks!

Caldercraft (or Jotika) are generally regarded as the top of the range for authenticity, on the other hand, if he has to scratch build details to replace sub standard components that'll keep him busier for even longer!BigGrin

lol thanks Robin, you have a good point there! I prefer the look of the Caldercraft one, just not sure about the white hull. Decisions decisions eh!
