Hate to tell you Karl, but the stain on your gallery panel is on the wrong side, it should be on the inside surface
Its no big problem as the outside surface will be painted black later on, but you'll need to stain the inside surface if not done.

were up to week 42, and a fair amount of work to do. the bow beak head I digressed slightly from the instructions, I dry fitted the top and bottom formers, then glued the planks to the formers. I then removed when dry, and sanded away from the bow. undercoated and the black top coat was applied by airbrush. karl1113 attached the following image(s): Current builds: SotS, USS Consitution, San Felipe, D51 loco, HMS Surprise, RB7, Arab Dhow, Jotika HMS Victory Completed builds: HMS Pickel, Thermopylae, Mississipi river boat, Mary Rose, Cutty Sark, San Francisco II, HMS Victory x5, Titanic Lifeboat, Panart HMS Victory Launch, Hachette Titanic, Virginia Schooner, Endeavour Longboat. http://www.model-space.com/gb/

Hi Karl, very nice idea of dry fitting the formers and planking in situ... Can see it would allow all the finishing to be done off the ship... .. Hope you don't mind if I follow your lead on this part.... Well done..... Regards Alan
