As I have said before this is my first build of a model of this size and complexity. I must admit that one if the things that attracted me was the rigging stage. OOOOhhhhhh how little did I know. Words such as challanging, frustrating and more than a few which I could not include in this note. However I will not give up and excercise my right to walk away and come back later to continue. Now on issue number 107. So I have just added some of the sails to the Fore Mast

Some points for you who have yet to get to this stage

1. If you have not yet done so make sure all the hole in the blocks are clear, I was doing this as I assembled the masts and spars.

2. Some of the thread to be used is .5 and I have found it an advantage to bore out the holes in the required blocks a little larger to accomodated this thread.

3. TAKE YOUR TIME and move slowly around your model. Even so it is almost inevitable that some minor damage will occur to the parts that are sticking out. I have had to restick several parts around the bow.

I am attatching a piccy of the fore mast with sails attatched, still some tidying up to do

Hi Gil,BigGrin

As a first timer I will be happy with a result like that.

I`ve got two chances for something on this scale as I`m doing SoTS as a main build and the VIC as a secondary build.

Both still have a long way to go though LOL LOL

Keep up the good work.
