Welcome news. Just a quick query before I take the plunge. I see that acrylics are preferred for this kind of model. Is there anything to be said for oils? You can get some brilliant effects, and there's all that gorgeous decoration to be picked out. Best wishes, C

Hi their neo, whatever rocks your boat, the only reason we and deagostini recommend acrylics is, they dont smell, they dry quicker, are water based, cover more, and I think better, apart from that go for enamels(oils). K.

Hi

has anyone received their paint sets as yet please?

Money was taken a few weeks ago according to my statement but having just checked my account the order is still sat in status "PROCESSING".

Kind regards

Tony

Hi Tony,BigGrin

Not received mine yet, but the 28 day barrier hasn`t been passed on my purchase yet.
Paid for mine on 27/05/13, so a few days to go yet.

Hi Confused

Could somebody please let me know when this item will be delivered??

I made the assumption that "available now" means "in stock".

Paid for this item on 27/05/13, as of this date still not received.

Got mine yesterday. Tried the bronze paint on the cannons, excellent result. Only trouble is I'd already painted half a dozen a totally different and inferior looking bronze. Ah well that life.

Is anyone else having delivery issues with the paint.

Ordered and paid 26/05. £34.99 taken on my last statement but still no set.

Just tried customer service and we went from "you should have had it by now", to "did you get an order confirmation" to "it was allocated on 13/07 and you should get it by 10th August. If not phone back"

Not particularly happy at this point. Sorry for the moan but its either post here or kick the cat ( and I like cats)
