trimming top edge Options

Ive trimmed the top edge to the figures quoted in the magazine however as you can see from the picture frames 20, 21, 22 are all sitting below the cut edge by about 2-3mm, the directions say that the cut edge should end up level with the top of the frames. Can anyone tell me if this ail be a problem, or do i need to trim the top edge down more. Im not sure whats coming up in the area so no idea if this will be a problem.

i had a similar out come, its not too much of a problem, if the time comes just cut it down, otherwise probably best to leave it, it may be accounting for the deck and planking to come.
