Hi Im following the de ag guide along with the official build diary and both say to paint the upper masts black if painting the model. All photos i can find of the real victory show yellow and black upper masts, yellow studdingsail booms and yellow hand masts, in fact more yellow than black on all the masts. Is this de ag guide specific for a certain period in time, Trafalgar etc or is it meant to be as the Vic is today? Cheers Steve

Thanks Karl, Now this is what im on about, the jotika has the yellow masts and hand masts - the same as the Victory is now, so if this is supposed to be the Trafalgar colours then one of them has to be wrong? Steve

actually, it looks as though the jotika is varnished wood for the upper masts and studdingsail booms and yellow hand masts. Steve
