So, short update as to where I am now and guess what..... yep, still planking away but think another couple of evening should see it finally done...  .. Am at the stage now where I am longing to move onto something else..  .. like treenailing....  .. Slow progress but am very pleased with how its going.... Well what can I say except.... Yabba Dabba Doo..... finally finished planking the lower hull and it felt like a marathon job....  .. Still, learning curve has been steep and thoroughly enjoyed the experience..  .. With my first attempt I have to say I am very very pleased with how it has turned out....  .. Tomorrow will make a start on the treenailing and recon I will be at that for another 2 or 3 evenings.... Return of the POTS...maybe!!!! Regards Alan Gandale attached the following image(s):

Lovely work Alan. I know what you mean about the 2nd Planking, seems to take forever, I'm just beginning the second side. But worth taking time over, if you want it to look good. It's so easy to rush it and then suffer having to look at it for evermore, with regret that you didn't give it enough care.
