Hi All, BigGrin

I have just marked out the top edge of my hull planking and have a question.

Does the top edge between Rib#7 and Rib#16 have a slight curve to it, while all the other top edges are a straight line?

Regards

I started with the first plank following the curve of the second deck.
All of my subsequent planks are following that curve, all down the sides.
Did I do this wrong?

Hi Derek

I found that the upper level at the fwd end has a slight curve downwards from fwd to aft. then the lower level at mid ships (the bit you are talking about) has got a curve, dipping in the middle, this should follow the same curve as the gun ports. I found the next rise also has a curve similar to the midships, then the last two rises seamed to be straight. If your worried you could always leave a bit on to take off later.

Hope this helps. BigGrin BigGrin

Cheers Stu

That about bears out what I`ve got.

The fore section curve is so slight it`s hardly noticeable, the stern sections are straight, but the midships section has a curve.

Many thanks for looking in and giving your advise.Cool
