Hi, I know I have mentioned this a few times but id really like a consensus of opinion on this from anyone who is building the De ag Victory (not the cross section) and using or planning to use HAT 1/72 figures.

I know they are different scales but i was under the impression that this would not make a noticeable difference but im not so sure now.

So really whay im after is reassurance that they look okBigGrin If you have the Victory at a level of completion where you can actually place a HAT figure on deck and give me your opinion on how they look (minus the stand if possible).
Also, if you have the actual de ag figures and the HAT figures could you please post a pic of them side by side as I dont yet have the de ag figures to compare the sizes.
Thanks for you efforts in advance.

Here's a pic of my upper gundeck with some figures, plan to put a couple more marines down there too.

Hi Stevie_O
I Have also the HAT figures and last week I saw the figurines of issue 120.
They are equal of size, despite the difference in scale.
See Photo:

I want to divide them over the decks of the Victory, and the masts, in the open part and in the cross section.
I think that the HAT figures are best in the cross section but on the Victory deck they looks me fine too.
When placing on the lower decks, as you did, they probably touch their heads to the ceiling. There I think, they looks a bit too tall.
But in the open air: no problem, as you can see:

I think you don't have to worry about them.

Fantastic, thanks for your reply Jan. The pic of the HAT figures next to the de-ag ones confirms that the difference is nothing to worry about. They do look a little tall in the quarter deck opening but then again there was not that much headroom on the real thing. Thanks again, I have now painted 50 of these so am determined to use themBigGrin
