Hi All, BigGrin BigGrin

Do we, anywhere in the run of things know if the entry ports will be in the open or closed position?

Reason for asking is, if, they will be open then the dummy gun supports will be visible and I would prefer to remove that section and show internal decking albeit a small amount.

I am decking that section just in case any lower deck is visible through the hatches, so would rather deck all the area in one go while I`m at it.

it'll probably be closed but then again what would be the reason for the big hole if it was to be closed, a good question, but its probably better to close it because other than a planked deck theres no much to see

I am guessing they may be open, because the dummy gun support beams have been deliberately extended past them.

You might be able to identify for sure via the Italian site.

Hi Del
The Italian site hasn't got that far yet.I would have edged my bets that the entrance port is closed and is a complete casting, surround with door.Hence the hole to clear the back of the door as it is recessed. There is nothing in the Italian build to suggest any different as no internal detail has been fitted.
Kind Regards Nigel

Thanks Guys,BigGrin BigGrin

Have checked the Italian site and can confirm as stated "they ain`t got that far" and agree that it will most likely be closed, because on further thought I`m thinking, that if the gun ports are open with the cannon pointing out to sea, then it`s unlikely they will have an open door policy. LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL .

Thanks for looking in and your thoughts,Cool
