Aft Main Deck Superstructure
Total build time 168 hours

Now I know I will not be geting my etch doors from Germany, very very disappointed Crying I can now crack on with the aft superstructure. Just as before I have removed the plastic that is to be replaced then drilled out the scuttles. because i am drawing from 3 etch kits I am removing the etch an putting in order so i can ensure i don't miss any alternatives.

For the steel deck parts (that replace part of the kit deck incorrectly shown as planked) I have used the MK1 etch as it was better detailed with smaller perforations but used the Eduard edging.

Once again I have etch upgrading a kit error. At the rear of the superstructure the kit has a vertical ladder. MK1 replace this with an etch ladder but it should be hand irons, fortunately Eduard have got it correct so i can do the hand irons.

progress so far with lots of etch to go!

Great work Jase.
I'm sorry to hear, that you were unsuccessful with the German Etch. I hope that you got your money back at least. As I think I said, my Paypal dispute with him and a lot of messages through Paypal did produce my Etch in the end, but I was kinda hoping for a refund by then.
