Hi All,

Still haven't received my issues 7, 8 9 & 10 yet and they were posted last Thursday. Did miss a recorded delivery today was hoping that was it, but from what I've read here looks like Std Parcels is the norm! Huh

P.S. Now interested to know what the recorded item was, not expecting anything else.Confused

No sign of mine yet, but they've always been a little behind everyone else's deliveries!

Its so that the tops all line up properly for when you'll be putting the decking in - best to leave unglued at present.

Wahoo! My 7-10 arrived too. Can start the build now that we've got that last keel section. Like someone else mentioned, my Pin-Pusher shaft is bent. Very odd considering its been stored in the aluminium case.

Received mine today to, although the keel section suffered from damage in transit. Have been on the dog and bone to CS and replacement part is being sent. Not to sure about the plank bender? it looks like a guillotine of some sort and I guess to bend the planks, one has to grip it and then drag it through the jaws until the reqired bend is achievedConfusedConfused Confused Confused can anyone put me right plse?

Hi Tiswas....it's a stage crimper...crimp move the wood a little then crimp again...so it causes the wood to curve...i tried it and it works.....best soaking the wood first ....then do the crimping.....finishing with a pull through with a very hot steam iron..or hot planking tool..imho....BigGrin

mine arrived ok,, not sure about the round nose pliers, shouldn`t the jaws meet all the way down so as to bend differents size rings and so.. not complaining tho its a nice free gift all the same..

BigGrin You have a flat jaw & a blade
place plank between them squeeze handle
This will make a cut on one side of the plank the closer the cuts the bigger the bend u can achieve)
Advise to practise on some spare bits of planking to get used to applying pressure etc
Crying I have used them before whether correctly or not i am sure i will find out soon

And mine has now arrived (7,8,9,10). Came with the toolbox - nice box, and some good tools, but already bought most of them from the local model shop. Oh well, I now have backups.
