My other half got me this kit last month and I've just got around to starting it. I'll post pictures etc when its done. I doubt very much I'll get around to lighting it, although it really wouldn't be that hard ...
So far I've primed most of the main parts but annoyingly I ran out so bit of a wait till I can get some more ><

Been rather quiet few days model wise, but I've got the Rio Grande more or less finished now. Just got a little bit of touch up to do on the paint and the decals.
To be fair this model has been a learning curve really first time I've used spray paints. I've also learned that AMT kits are a NIGHTMARE to get lined up properly >< but think its turned out fairly well...would have looked cool lit but just don't have the time and cash to sink into new solder iron and bits n bobs atm.

anyway here's some pictures. at this point i know its far from perfect and id really appreciate any tips or feedback you have? cheers

I think you've done a great job and SciFi isn't easy to get right... maybe add some weathering to make it look a bit "used"? Looks good though Cool

the hull is still a long way off yet i've got the detailing to do around the intake vents and the general decals :)
but thanks appreciate it :D

I'm building up to the polar lights 1/350 Enterprise that one i will be lighting and putting the azztec decals on aswell. but man its HUGE lol
