BigGrin Hi All
Pack 3 is here, the 1st pack is finishing off the front plate covers, steps then a coat of undercoat and top coat to follow.
The other 3 packs are to do with the construction of the engine underframes , there are a couple of point's to make here there are some very small rivets to place so be carefull and although the white metal castings are well cast I found a quick going over with a file will take any small burr's away and help with the fit.
regards
AndyCool

PS Not sure about others but im starting to amass a nice collection of spare screws and rivet'sBlink

Hi Andy the quality of the parts looks first rate.

I plan to subscribe to this when my san fran 2 subscription completes Drool

BigGrin Hi Jase
From the parts I have received so far I have to say there of top quality ,everything fits together with minimal if any cleaning up , there are a few casting marks on some pieces but nothing major .Thanks for looking in and your comments

BigGrin Hi Alan
thanks for looking in and your comments , as for the painting im just using a cheepo undercoat I get from a local pound shop type store called ' Canbrush' 400ml cans at 3 sqid and has a finish like 'plasticote' at twice or more the price. The airbrush and compressor I use are a basic starter kit that I have added another airbrush too but I don't own any named airbrushes and have only been using the above airbrush for just over 12 months now.
Saying that I do try to choose the paints I use carefully with a little investigation/searching its suprising what you can find that has been formulated for your needs but I do generally use either Tamiya or Lifecolour paints at a 50% thinned starting mix, sometimes more thinning is required to get the affect your after. One thing I will say is practice makes perfect and builds confidence, the more you use an airbrush the better you get . hope this helps
