some help please.... Issues 65 I am making the main mast yards both the instructions and the official build state ' taper two of the 3mm dowels' I appear to have 5 3mm fowls all of which are long enough to make two booms. my question is what length is the dowel other people have used or identified for use? I don't want to use the wrong one!! “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

hi jase, I wouldn't worry too much, the yard booms are pretty much the same as each other, very little difference in them. so as not to cut one and not be able to cutanother, meaning do not leave too much waste,I had pieces left over after doing them all, you do get enough.3mm.dowel anyway. k. Current builds: SotS, USS Consitution, San Felipe, D51 loco, HMS Surprise, RB7, Arab Dhow, Jotika HMS Victory Completed builds: HMS Pickel, Thermopylae, Mississipi river boat, Mary Rose, Cutty Sark, San Francisco II, HMS Victory x5, Titanic Lifeboat, Panart HMS Victory Launch, Hachette Titanic, Virginia Schooner, Endeavour Longboat. http://www.model-space.com/gb/
