Hi All

Didn't do a build diary of the Yamato but decided to post a few pics.
This was an enjoyable build and I have been very pleased with the level of detail in this kit. A big thanks to all who posted build diarys as they have been a help and an inspiration during this build.

Cheers
Ken

She is a lovely looking ship.Youve done a grand job there with the Yamato as thats not an easy hull to get the curves right on.I particularly liked the job youve done with the wooden decking.

Hi All. Thank you for all your comments about my model of the Yamato.

Jase I am just started building the Akagi and thanks to this forum I know what to expect in the future.
I have been inspired by budgie's idea of scratch building from a cardboard/paper ship model and am seriously thinking about doing the same but at the same scale as etched parts and gun barrels are available. Will keep you posted.

Cheers
