Gun ports Options

I live in South Africa and we are only on issue 21. Can anyone help me with the gun port template, in issue 35 I think, because I prefer to build the ports as I go and not cut them later.BigGrin

There is a Typo with the gunports location. Make double, triple sure about the locations.

hi allan,the gunports do not have a template as such, only very careful measuring AFTER some of the planking is done.it is fairly straight forward to do, but cutting out is never the best job to do anyway. just take your time and enjoy. k.BigGrin

I made a template from 1mm ply, after marking all the frames and decks on the outer hull I pinned two battens at the line of each deck. measured from each frame drew round the template sitting on the batten and then the fun starts with a scalpel. time consuming but worth it.
