Having learnt almost half way through my build there was no real reason to use ABS. Just a good quick activating S glue. Which I only faulted once or twice. The main one being see attached JPEG? Any ideas how I should tackle it or should I just leave and put it down to experience :0p

There are many posts about CA glue and what it can do to any surface when moisture is near or even natural oils from finger prints etc.. All is not lost though and one easy step is to apply some warm to the area affected.. use your cotton bud if you want and if it dries just add more so that it does not dry out.. as the the water "softens" the CA you should be able to gently wipe off. Never try to remove it if it will not budge as it will remove the paint.. Once this is done then just add Klear to the area and this will hide any "fogging" left over Spencer

Spence......little did I know as a first timer did I even dream that I'd have so many hurdles. To be honest I thought it a little like an advanced uair fix model....I know now how further than the truth this could of been! I fell fowl of the adverts. Suffice to say I'm a bit of a perfectionist and when things go a bit wrong I'm upset. I've tried what you have suggested. A week or two ago and it's the same as it was. I guess I was hoping for a magic wand..cheers Spence

It's all a learning curve Jonny and i'm sure your not the only one who thought it was a step up from there very first Airfix kit.. Testiment to that is how well the MP4/23 sold but only a handfull of builds on this forum... hopefully someone else will be reading this who is in the same boat as you and I say to them come and join us and show us what you have done! We are here to help so don't ever be worried what others may think of your work... Back to you.. I can only suggest the coats of Klear built up and that should hide a lot of the fogging Jonny.. I'll do some testing with different materials to see what i come up with to help.. Spence
