Pratt & Whitney 50 litre 18 cylinder Radial Airplane Engine,from what I can surmise it was basically 2 radial engines bolted togetherBlink it had a power output of 2000hp & was fitted to the F4U Corsair dive bomber & gave it it's nickname of Whistling Death

Very good guess, but not the answer I was looking for.BigGrin The engine you have listed was a double row radial (2 rows of 9 cylinders in a staggered formation) and was only 46 litres in capacity.BigGrin

I will give you a clue, it was not a radial engine.BigGrin
