Kimi Raikkonen looks certain to seal a deal to return to Ferrari this week.
Some sources insist the Iceman has already signed on the dotted line. Others say he is simply “ready to make his choice”.
Meanwhile, Lotus boss Eric Boullier is desperately trying to put a package together that will tempt Raikkonen to stay.
Raikkonen won the world championship for Ferrari in 2007 but quit the team amidst much bad blood two years later.
Ferraris are expected to make a decision about their 2014 line-up within days, with Felipe Massa seemingly set for the chop.
Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo has refused to rule out a dramatic Raikkonen return to create a dream team with Fernando Alonso.

Would have preferred to see him in a Red Bull, just to watch SV squirm, but it is turbo time again next year and Ferrari are pretty good at getting the maximum out of the smaller spec engines, so Kimi could be making a very shrewd move and will certainly give Alonso more to think about than Massa ever will!?

This is a very strange move in my eyes  A one man team with two hungry drivers, both wanting their next championship For all that Massa was never going to get a race win again, he was a huge team player and bowed down to Alonso's every instruction Will Kimi move over if he is told "Alonso is faster than you"? I think not "Yes yes yes I know what I'm doing" will soon change to "If he is fast he can try and overtake me" We'll see, I just don't think it's going to work
