I keep hearing that the new SOAR ART WORKSHOP 1/35 DORA Rail Gun is the largest plastic kit ever made. If true then that is fair enough as Dora is the largest gun ever made. And this kit come with some state of the are laser cut resin.

Talking about large plastic models, please nominate Nichimo's 1/200 Yamato.
It is 1.25 times larger than DeAGO's one.

Speaking of big kits i remember a relative buying me the plastic 1/72 B52 when i was a kid, certainly struggled to find a home for that one when it was builtBigGrin

I have the Revell 1:48 Rockwell B-1B Bomber (with all the Eduard PE sets & SAC metal undercarriage) and that is the biggest plastic aircraft kit produced to date at just over 3 feet long - it's huge!! Blink Blink

Interesting post.I have the Nichimo Yamato in the loft as well as Gold Medal Models extensive etch.Yes it is a decent size but the quality of some of the mouldings leaves a little to be desired. It requires extensive rework to bring it up to today's standards. As regards Dora,as you know by my signature I have this kit also. The kit is moulded in ABS plastic with some photoetch and extruded metal rail tracks. It is 2m long when built. There are no resin parts.
Kind Regards Nigel
