I don't if anyone else subscribed to the Eaglemoss Nissan GTR.

I signed up for this in May, I was looking for a simple build to tide me over whilst I was on medication that made it difficult to concentrate and I didn't feel up to working on my other builds. This had no gluing, no painting and was a relatively simple screw and bolt construction. Ideal, I thought with my few working Brain CellsLOL LOL

However, my experience has been very disappointing. The parts are reasonable quality , but the paint is in places poor. But the delivery has been a nightmare. Firstly parts were missing from the first shipment, these were promised with the 3rd shipment but weren't. Secondly Issue 11 was missing from the 2nd shipment, this was eventually delivered within the last couple of weeks, the 2nd shipment also had broken parts due to very poor packaging (these have been replaced).
I was then informed that there would be a delay in August's delivery (4th Shipment), which I paid for at the beginning of August, this has still not turned up and instead I have received a message saying that payments from September have been suspended due to delivery problems(I should now be expecting the 5th Shipment). There is no indication of when any further shipments might appear. All these problems seem to be general and not just me.Confused Confused

I haven't had any issues. From the other forums it appears that it is only those who have subscribed to the 12 month plan! Everyone on the 24 month plan seems to be having next to no issues.
I disagree regarding the quality and packaging. The quality is great and the packaging is better than the McLaren (No offence intended)

Hi Andy,
I too have had some issues with the GTR, I had a damaged front facia I think it had been dropped just after it was Produced then the paint was applied didnt notice it straight away until I came to fit it however it was replaced by EM without any issue although the replacement part had a very small nick In the paint work, also while most of the parts are good quality I feel that the finishes on some parts escaped quality control also had issue with oil and water cap label not being positioned centrally on the caps.

As Ian says there does seem to be issues with the 12 month subs.
I have thought too about cancelling my subsription but will probably carry on unless I have any major issues however I would certainly think twice before subscribing to a EM build again(my opinion)
Regards
Simon

I have also subscribed and got the email with regards to payments being suspended due to supplier issues. I did the 12 month option and have had all my parts apart from the Aug delivery.

But to be honest I wasn't too bothered as I have just come back from 3 weeks in the USA on holiday!

I haven't had any issues with poor parts or packaging, in fact having built the DB5 beforehand the packaging, overall parts quality and customer service for this is 110% better!!

I just hope they sort out their supplier issues quickly.

I subscribed to this in May also and to date have received no parts no emails and customer services are non existent, I have no faith in eaglemoss whatsoever, I originally wanted there 1:36 B-17 but nobody including eaglemoss has any idea whats happening with that one. Not an ideal way to conduct a business Confused

The B17 was a few issues test. Their customer services dept should be able to resolve your matters.

An Email, finally, informs me that the August Delivery will ship in 10 days, but the September Delivery is now postponed until November. Still, at least it's something other than the stony silence. Plus what the heck, I've got more than enough to do, Zero's on the horizonBigGrin Drool

Mr T, why do companies conduct test issues of part-works lasting 3 to 5 issues? I was hoping you could shed some light on this matter?

Thanks ! BigGrin
