Hi All, Just watching "Flog It" on the tele and it was filmed in Hartlepool. They showed the Leda Class Frigate HMS Trincomalee as a local attraction and wondered if there would be any interest in this as a future build. This vessel was built in India as the British ports were to busy at the time and India had an abundance of Teak to be made available for ship building. The ship has been restored and is afloat, not in a dry dock. The following web site has deck plans, photos and a host of other info on it. HMS TrincomaleeIf all else fails it makes some interesting reading. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Hi Del I have visited this ship and recommend it to anyone who visits the area.It is a smaller ship which would allow some big scale superdetailing. Kind Regards Nigel

Kind Regards Nigel Hi Nigel, Or should I say "Mr Detail" I have every intention of paying a visit, now that I know it`s there One extra thing I noticed on the web site, is they do function evenings. How about a "Model Space" meet up? Just another thought, must have a lay down now, as two thoughts in one day is one too many. . Hi Derek What a find! As a South African, never involved in any ships, staying on the Highveld, this is an interesting find! It gives a novice like myself the insights into the workings of a ship! Just love the website! Kobus
