Greetings all,
Anyone that has used a different wood to the supplied bamboo for planking, how many metres do I need to order for the Sovereign please ?

Hi Dave, I used Limewood, and it's about 30 lengths per side, so 60m. As you'll not need a full metre, you can use the offcuts for the Stern etc.

Lime would be my preferred choice too.
No wonder that's why it seems like for an eternity all the post person has been dropping through the letter box is more bamboo strips !
