Well done Chris on sticking at it and successfully completing your build and very nice she is too! Great set of pictures too mate and the blue silk really accentuates the chrome of the car - you've obviously thought about your presentation! CoolThumpUp

Well, what's next then, you've got to do something with your time. You being a Ferrari fan, how about a Gilles Villeneuve/Jody Scheckter Tamiya 1:12 Ferrari 312T4 or similar?

P.S. - I bet Archie is gutted? He turned up for every episode of the build, played a starring role every time and then got dropped in the finale!! That's just not right mate!! Glare Confused Flapper LOL LOL LOL LOL

BigGrin Thank you mate! To be honest....I am not sure??? I am going to get the display case sorted first with LED lights. Then I am going to be making a Lewis Hamilton scale helmet to go with the car (Inspired by Kev)
Should keep me out of trouble for a while!!

BigGrin Thank you Kev! I have no idea what I am going to do next??? I am going to get the display case sorted first, and then make a Lewis Hamilton 2008 scale helmet.....Inspired by your good self!!! Funny you should mention Archie....I DID want him at the presentation, and he was sleeping at the time. I picked him up and placed him next to the 'Big Mac', but he took one look at it and jumped back on the sofa. Curled up into a ball and went to sleep again!LOL LOL LOL LOL LOL I am hoping to get a photo with him beside the car soon....after all he did help build it!LOL
Thanks for looking in again mateThumpUp

BigGrin Hi guys. Here are some photos of my McLaren in it's display case.
The base of my case is wood, so I bought some carbon fibre gloss vinyl (the sort you cover a car body with) and added to the base!

Very effective!!Love Just got to get the lighting sorted now.
