OK, Here it is - the moment has arrived. Rock Pig's Build Diary - Hooray !!
Before I even start, BIG Kudos to all the Pro's who are helping us Noobs by posting advice, tutorials, pdf's etc etc - I wouldn't even be attempting this if all this knowledge wasn't available!! You know who you are guys, please keep it coming - right to the end, preferably
Also, I personally think both admin and Tomick are doing a fine job, and it's good that they are both reading all these posts and helping wherever they can - so thanks to both of you too!
OK, and now me - complete novice, never attempted anything like this before, hence I'm deliberately lagging behind so I can watch everyone else make a pig's ear of stuff and then supply the solution before I get there! No offence intended to anyone, that's just the way I need the forum to work otherwise this will be quite a short build diary

- veni, vidi, soditi - I came, I saw, I gave up...
I've subscribed from ish 1 way back when, and although I haven't done much, I'm devouring all posts like a maniac until I feel brave enough to do a bit. So, following the forum recommendations, I first created a pitch for the build. Conveniently located next to where I keep the beer :-

And here's one showing how I fitted it in to my own little private domain..

And here's one of it in use, full activity :-

You should be able to pick out various forum recommendations, including :-
Musical accompaniment...it says Rock Pig, any questions?
Tool to reduce risk of Percussive Adjustment

- Strongbow in this case
Maplin's magnifying light - I read EVERYTHING...
Aliphatic Glue from Cornwall Model Shop, good stuff - I've stuck my fingers to the launch several times already, thanks people!
Johnstone's Masonry paint and floor tile, or Flatter-Outer tool for the Bulkheads
You might just pick out the Revell 1/225 Victory up a corner in top piccie, my "In-Betweenie"
Ever-Present Laptop for those ?????? moments...
So, that'll do for a start. Piccies of my build with next post - bet you can't wait, eh?
Cheers and Hi to everyone, looking forward to this
