This site is a godsend and it seems that everyone wants to be as accurate as possible with the build. Bet Admin are wishing they'd stuck to selling cars

Wait until you get to the sails!

I don't know about this kit yet but I have spent many a happy hour with needle and thread sewing the seams on the sails for the Bounty kit. Haven't started on the sails for HMS Halifax.

I did ask for a volunteer sailmaker but I will leave you to imagine the response!

Just spent the last of my Christmas money with Amazon buying the 'Anatomy of Nelson's Ships'. It will now be interesting to see which comes first issues 2 and 3 or a book from Amazon.

there's a challenge for Admin!

While I agree that the more detail the better the model, I find myself thinking that were all starting to get picky as to what we get with the publication, dont get me wrong, I will be adding any detail I think necessary as we go, but these extra details we can easily add ourselves, and dont need to be added in the publication.
I will however say that I do think a full size plan should have been included for reference. BigGrin

Totally agree with you on all the liitle bits and bobs we can do to the kit,it is a slow build so plenty of time!

A Full size plan, we have been asking Admin about this and still nothing seems to be forthcoming!!
Happy Building, Russ
