Hi Mike; is it possible for you to send me the painting instructions. They are missing in your PDF, I have the Transom & Quarter Gallery Skins. Transom & Quarter Gallery Decoration, The Name Plate and also The Binnacle. No hury I just wanted to took them over.

Hi Mike; Sorry about that, what I realy wanted to know is the width of the inside vertical window frames as they seam narlier than the out side frames.

GALLERY ENHANCEMENT PAINTING THE BRASS ETCH


I have already sprayed the etch with primer (as in my previous posts)now I brush on a thin coat of Admiralty yellow ochre, this will be the first of approx 3 thin coats (do not have too much paint on your brush)

PAINTING THE GALLERY BRASS ETCH

Hi Everyone, at the last post of my build diary I applied the first coat of yellow ochre to the already primed surfaces. Now at this stage I am making sure the brass etch fits the contours of the sides and rear gallery, by gently bending the etch to fit (for a second time), and the good news is it has note cracked the paintBigGrin

Now I am applying the 2nd coat of yellow ochre paint to the brass etch, making sure the coat is very thin,(this will be the second of three coats)
