Now that the diary problem has been resolved I thought it would be nice to get back to some building... .. Have made a good start at fitting the ornamentation on the stern. Some pieces needed a little fine filing to get the best fit possible otherwise no issues encountered... . While waiting for parts to cure thought I would make a start at planking the forcastle, hope to finish this part tomorrow.... Happy building all Regards Alan Gandale attached the following image(s):

I agree with Ace, I want to continue with my build, but still got left over projects from last summer to finish before it lands in the rubbish. Great work here Marcel "Rather try and fail than had failed to try".Sovereign of the Seas Model Space forum: Marcel's build

Very short update tonight as unfortunately I didn't get as much done today as I had hoped, mainly due to having visitors for the day... .. Did however get more ornamentation pieces fitted to the stern. Also finished planking the forecastle and completed half the treenailing.... .. Tomorrow is another day as they say.... Happy building all.. Regards Alan Gandale attached the following image(s):

Kind Regards Nigel Thanks Nigel, never thought of it like that but am finding the detail takes up a lot more time than building the superstructure... still, think the whole build has been so enjoyable so far and long may it continue....
