Have a quick question. On the yards you have to make a sling type thing using black beads to hold the yard to the mast.
The ones supplied are all different sizes, does anyone know what these are called as i want to get some that are all the same size.
Regards
Foz

I think they are called Parral Beads Foz. There are different shaped ones to go on the levers of the falconets, but I am going to buy some different falconets which are smaller and more in scale, so wont be using the ones supplied. I sorted the beads to separate the two types, although there are still some slight differences, but they look fine when fitted! Currently Building:
Eaglemoss HMB Endeavour De Agostini Sovereign of the Seas

Thanks for that Gus. I found some at CMB so brought enough for all the masts. So a quick update as i am up to part 87. First off is the main mast, well the start of it, have not stuck anything together yet just put in place to see what it looks like. Think is going to be quite big and no idea were i will put her.

Made a start today on the ships boat, hopefully will get it finished today. If i could ask Karl were he got the anchor and barrels from that he added to his as that makes it look really neat, as he said in his build it is lacking the fine detail. Regards Foz
